Tribal Government Institute APEX Accelerator is an Indian-owned economic enterprise. TGI provides procurement assistance to Native American-owned businesses and tribally-owned enterprises that are located within Indian Country in either the Southern Plains or Eastern Oklahoma BIA regional areas. To be eligible for TGI’s procurement assistance services, applicants need to provide an existing good or service that is purchased by the government.
Tribal Government Institute APEX Accelerator provides confidential procurement counseling services at no cost to any Native American-owned business that possesses the interest and potential to perform work as a prime contractor or subcontractor for federal, state and local government agencies.
Tribal Government Institute APEX Accelerator will continue to provide free procurement assistance, which to date, has assisted clients with acquiring and performing on federal, state, and local government contracts totaling in excess of 1 billion dollars.
TGI Provides the Following APEX Accelerator Services
- Assist with conducting market research, finding government opportunities, and establishing relationships with agencies.
- Assist with SAM and other governmental vendor registrations.
- Assist with understanding government bid and proposal solicitations.
- Assist with locating businesses to form partnering agreements between firms.
- Assist with preparing, reviewing and finalizing a bid or proposal.
- Assist with locating technical information and pricing data.
- Assist with subcontracting opportunities.
- Assist with understanding RFID, UID, and packaging standards.
- Assist with 8(a), HUBZone, WOSB, EDWOSB, DBE certifications and Veteran-owned business verification.
- Assist with preparing for pre-bid conferences, short-list interviews, debriefings, and pre-award meetings.
- Assist with electronic and other Internet-based bid opportunities.
- Assist with properly submitting an invoice, including Wide Area Work Flow.
- Assist with sources sought responses.
- Assist with the proper development of capability statements.
- Discuss basic risk management considerations.
- Discuss transportation considerations.
- Discuss US DoD Small Business Innovation Research/Small Business Technology Transfer (SBIR/STTR).
